Chris Edwards was born in Pennsylvania and moved to the Treasure Valley at the age of 7. He attended Meridian High School and was a two-sport athlete playing football and baseball. As a senior he earned all-conference honors in baseball. He also bowled competitively and won the state championship as a junior and was the runner-up as a senior.
Chris received his BS in Exercise Science from Idaho State University in 2016. While at ISU, he was a member of the football team as a defensive lineman. He garnered several academic and athletic awards as a student athlete and was inducted into the college football hall of fame after being awarded the Babe Caccia award in 2016.
Chris’ passion for physical therapy began his junior year in high school when he was rehabilitating from a football injury. Physical therapy enabled Chris to return to playing the sports he loved quicker than expected. He has always enjoyed helping people and he realized that with physical therapy he can use this passion to allow people to return to the activities that they enjoy most. He earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Eastern Washington University in 2019 and joined Rock and Armor soon after graduation.
In his free time, Chris enjoys spending time with his wife Kim and their two dogs. He also likes outdoor activities including: fishing, snowboarding, golfing, mountain biking, and camping.
