Jake grew up in rural Iowa, where he developed a passion for sports early on, playing football, baseball, basketball, and running track. After high school, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and served for four years.
Following his military service, Jake earned a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from the University of South Carolina. In 2021, he moved to Idaho and began an internship at Rock and Armor, eventually joining the team as a therapy technician. He went on to earn his Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from Idaho State University in 2025 and returned to Rock and Armor Boise as a licensed physical therapist.
Jake enjoys working with a wide range of patients and is passionate about helping people regain confidence in their movement and achieve their goals. He has special interests in working with weight lifters, first responders, and military members.
Outside of work, Jake loves sports, especially football and baseball. He also enjoys great food, quality time with friends, and hanging out with his wife, Cooper.
