Jarod graduated from Northwest Nazarene University in the spring of 2017 with a B.A. in Kinesiology with the emphasis on coaching and parks and recreation. He was raised in Kennewick, WA and graduated high school from Kennewick High, playing football and baseball all four years. From there, Jarod went on to play baseball at Walla Walla Community College and then transferring to Gonzaga University and finishing his fifth year at Northwest Nazarene University. Jarod received his USAW Sports Performance Coaching Certification the winter of 2017-2018.

Jarod enjoys not only helping athletes reach their goals, but helping them understand the plan and the process to achieve their goals. He takes pure enjoyment in seeing his clientele grow as an athlete and an individual through the process.

When not assisting the baseball team at NNU or running their Strength and Conditioning Program, Jarod loves being outdoors. Being an outdoor enthusiast, Jarod enjoys hunting, fishing and being by a fire with a group of friends. Jarod will try and escape to the mountains or a lake and be out in Gods Country any chance he gets.
