Rock & Armor is bringing Treasure Valley’s sports rehab + performance experts to Star. Our newest location is built the same way as all five of our clinics: an open training floor, real equipment, and a team of board‑certified sports specialists — not a treatment table in a waiting room.
We treat athletes and active people of every age and level, and we back it up with 2,000+ five‑star Google reviews. Unlike a traditional clinic, we don’t stop at pain‑free — every plan of care runs through our Return‑to‑Sport Protocol. Because rehab and performance training happen under one roof, you move straight from recovery into strength, speed, and return‑to‑sport training, without ever getting referred out.
Most rehab gets you out of pain. It doesn’t get you back to sport. Traditional PT stops at pain‑free — we don’t.

No. Idaho is a direct access state, so you can see a physical therapist at Rock & Armor without a physician referral.You can schedule directly and start treatment right away — no waiting on a doctor’s appointment just to get a referral.
The one exception: a few insurance plans, notably Medicare, Medicaid, and some Tricare plans, still require a physician’s order on file for reimbursement. Our team will flag this during insurance verification if it applies to you
Rock & Armor was built as a sports performance clinic first and a rehab clinic second, modeled after a college athletic training room rather than a medical waiting room. Every location is led by clinicians with sports‑specific training, including Board‑Certified Sports Clinical Specialists, and treatment is built around getting you back to performance, not just pain‑free.
Our “Rehab. Train. Perform.” model means your plan of care doesn’t stop at discharge — you can transition straight into performance training with the same team that rehabbed you.
Our Star location opens in November 2026. Once open, most Rock & Armor patients are seen within one week of reaching out.
